PLAYER PROGRAM FEES:

Every player is asked to contribute:  to the Lane Tech Boys Lacrosse Booster Club for Player Programs Fees. This fee assists in covering expenses such as coaches, field space, referees, uniforms, and helmets.  In addition, this year the player fees will cover the required Lane Tech logo practice and game gear kit that has been specified for the season.

VARSITY FEES: $400

JV FEES: $335

*This fee is different from the $100 fee Lane Tech charges students to play a sport.  That fee is collected through the Lane Tech website and 100% goes to Lane Tech.

Please do not let this fee be a deterrent from playing. If you cannot pay, or can only pay a reduced amount please contact Kristen Van Dyke (kristenjvandyke@gmail.com).

We apply for several grants over the year to supplement our program, but will also take other donations both monetary and in-kind.

Action item: We ask that you Zelle this fee to LaneTechBoysLacrosse2023@gmail.com HOWEVER: if you bank  with Chase and run into issues, please Zelle pay: kristenjvandyke@gmail.com

If you do not have Zelle, please contact Steve Beard (sbeard@gmail.com) to discuss the payment option that works best for you.

High school lacrosse players require specific equipment to ensure their safety. Certified lacrosse helmets will be provided for LT players, but may need to be shared depending on the amount of players.

Action item: Please purchase a lacrosse stick, mouthguard, shoulder pads, arm guards/elbow pads, gloves, cleats, a protective cup, and a water bottle. Click here for promotional codes for Dick’s Sporting Goods.

RESOURCES:

We wanted to share some resources with the parents on the general rules and game overview of High School lacrosse.  The USA Lacrosse website is a great resource and below are some of the links that are terrific.  Feel free to share these with your player if he is new to the sport. Sometimes figuring out the rules is half the battle. In addition to these resources are numerous videos on YouTube that are highly recommended.
